Safestart offer First Drive pre-driver experiences to 14-17 year olds on a one to one basis. All sessions are carried out at our Newark training centre.
The pre-driver experience is carried out away from the public highway and consists of vehicle familiarisation, Car controls – safety checks – driver responsibilities – legal aspects – Use of controls (moving away/stopping) and manoeuvres.
There is very little theory involved other than covering safety issues, the idea of the pre-driver first drive experience is to give you experience driving a dual controlled vehicle under instruction from an Approved Driving Instructor in a safe environment.
FIRST DRIVE Pre-driver Experiences are designed as an ideal gift for the hard to please teenager, and to introduce them to the concept of "Safe Driving for Life" when they are 17. First drive experiences are available as either a One Hour, Hour and Half or Two Hour experience on a one to one basis and are payable in advance.
